At Jolivier Pottery, we take pride in creating handmade pieces using food-safe glazes and materials. Our pottery is designed to be both dishwasher and microwave safe, ensuring convenience and durability. To ensure the longevity of your pottery, we recommend the following care practices:
Cleaning - While our pottery is dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing and drying to extend its life. If you choose to wash by hand, please use a soft scrub brush and dish soap, avoiding metal and abrasive sponges. While rare, gray metal marks may appear from contact with cutlery and flatware. These marks are easily removed with a mild cleaner.
Temperature Control - To prevent cracking, avoid sudden temperature changes that can result in thermal shock. While our pottery can handle hot temperatures up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cold temperatures in the freezer, rapid transitions between extremes should be avoided. For example, do not remove a baking dish from the refrigerator and place it directly into a hot oven. To maintain the integrity of your pottery, transition it slowly from one temperature to another. Never use pottery on a hot stove stop, broiler, or open flame.
By following these care instructions, you can ensure the long-lasting beauty and functionality of your Jolivier Pottery pieces.
Every Jolivier Pottery product is crafted by hand, resulting in the presence of wabi-sabi aesthetics, which celebrate the beauty of imperfection. Our original designs undergo a process of hand glazing, intentionally incorporating drips and splatters. This means that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind, possessing its own distinct characteristics. Embracing the uniqueness of our creations, no two items are exactly alike.
The creation of backordered items at Jolivier Pottery requires a dedicated handcrafting process, tailored specifically for you. Please allow a timeframe of 6-8 weeks for the creation of these items. We will promptly contact you once your item is ready to be shipped. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we handcraft your order to ensure the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.
